Svanetra keeps how you like your AI tools to work, as short rules such as “Give the root cause first, then the fix.” It never keeps your code, your files or your chats: what your tools send is read once and deleted, and only the preferences found in it are kept. Your graph is private until you share it, and you can delete everything at any time.

• Your account: your email address, for signing in and for friend invites. It is never shown to other people. Also your handle, your display name, and a picture link if your sign-in provider gives one.
• Your taste: the rules you keep or write, how often each was used, and a history of changes so you can undo them.
• Where each rule came from, and when. No text.
• Which of your rules each tool was given, and a coded form of the task to match rules, never its text. Kept for 180 days.
• What kind of message each reported message was. No text. Kept for 180 days.
• Kinds of work you do, such as “Debugging · Go”.
• Preferences you give for one chat only, for up to 12 hours.
• Preferences Svanetra isn’t sure of yet, kept out of sight. Deleted after 180 days if they don’t become rules.
• Your answers to the taste check, your scores, and your thumbs on rules.
• Your connected tools, computers and browsers, and when each was last used. Of each token, only a fingerprint, never the token itself.
• Daily counts for each tool, for the Impact page.
• What you share and with whom, email addresses you invite until they join, and your stars, follows and reports.

Your code, file paths, chats or messages. When you send a message in a tool or site you connected, Svanetra receives it with up to five of your earlier messages in that chat and the end of the answer before it. It reads them once, usually within a minute, and deletes them. A rule that contains code, a file path, a link, an email address, a username, a phone number or anything that looks like a key or password is refused.

Svanetra can also read your past chats once: on a computer when you connect a tool, and in your browser only after you say yes. Only your own messages from the past year are read, with a little of the answer before a short reply, and keys and passwords are taken out on your device first. They are read once and deleted, and what Svanetra finds waits in Review for your yes. A chat app’s data export you drop on the Tools page is read in your browser: only your own messages from the past year leave it. To keep a computer’s past chats out, run node ~/.svanetra/svanetra-hook.mjs chats off on it; in your browser, use the switch in the extension’s menu.

It works only on the sites you switch on: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok. It sends each message you send there, as described above, never in temporary or incognito chats, and nothing while you type. When you send a message, it shows the rules that fit, and the ones you choose go at the end of your message. On ChatGPT, Claude and Grok it asks before reading your past chats; on ChatGPT that can include your custom instructions and the memories ChatGPT saved. In your browser it keeps its pairing, a token for each site, and which past chats it read (their ids, not their text), and anything that could not reach Svanetra yet, for a week at most.

To give your rules to the tools you connected, to show your graph so you can change it, to answer your questions in the graph chat, to tidy duplicate rules, to check that your rules help, and to share what you choose to share. Svanetra improves itself from totals across many people, never from one person’s data. Now and then it leaves one rule out, to check that your rules help; you can turn this off in Settings, under Holdouts. No ads, no selling data, and your rules are not used to train AI models.

Nothing, until you share. Sharing is friends-only unless you choose a link or public. People you share with see the shared rules and their links, your handle and your display name, never your email address. A public graph can be seen by anyone and is listed in Community.

A cookie keeps you signed in. Your browser also remembers your theme and layout, and your name, handle and email address so they show quickly. No analytics or advertising cookies. On a computer with Svanetra’s helper, your last few messages in each chat stay on the computer for a day, so the next one can be understood, and anything that could not reach Svanetra yet waits there for a week at most.

• See and edit every rule, undo changes, remove a tool, computer or browser, and stop sharing, at any time.
• Turn Holdouts off in Settings, so every rule that fits is always given.
• Delete your account in Settings. That removes the account and everything in it right away. We keep no separate backup copies at the moment.
• Our servers keep short-lived logs, such as request times, errors and IP addresses, to fix problems and stop abuse.

Svanetra isn’t meant for anyone under 13, or under the minimum age for online services where you live.
